The 12000LPH transformer oil purification plant upgrades the new and used electrical insulating liquids, transformer oils, and so on.
This machine owns a high high-efficiency three-level micro filter element, which can remove 99.5% of 1-micron particles.
The total water content of the filtered transformer oil is 5-10 PPM, and the free, emulsified, and dissolved water is removed by vacuum dehydration.

Vacuum Drying of Transformer Bodies
- High Pumping Speed: The addition of the Roots pump provides a massive increase in pumping speed (liters per second). This makes the machine capable of independent vacuum drying of the transformer tank itself.
- Efficiency on Large Assets: When commissioning or maintaining large power transformers, the machine can evacuate the large volume of air inside the transformer tank quickly, which is essential before vacuum filling.
Vacuum Oil Filling
- The machine allows for vacuum oil filling of transformers. Because it maintains a high vacuum level, it ensures that when oil is introduced into the transformer, no air bubbles are trapped in the winding insulation, which is critical for preventing partial discharge in high-voltage equipment.
- Removal of Moisture and Gases: This is the most critical function. The purifier uses a vacuum dehydration and degassing process. Oil is heated and subjected to a high vacuum, which causes dissolved water and gases (like air) to evaporate and be separated from the oil. This process can reduce moisture content to less than 5 parts per million (ppm) and gas content to less than 0.3% by volume, dramatically increasing the oil’s dielectric (insulating) strength .
- Elimination of Solid Particulates: Transformer oil can accumulate solid contaminants such as dust, metal particles, carbon, and sludge. Purifiers employ multi-stage filtration systems that can remove particles as small as 1 micrometer, preventing the formation of conductive bridges and ensuring the oil’s purity
- Enhancing Dielectric Strength: By combining the above processes, the purifier significantly boosts the oil’s breakdown voltage. 3 to 5 pass through the equipment can raise the dielectric strength from as low as 15 kV to over 75 kV, ensuring the oil can effectively withstand electrical stress without failure
